John Legend had tough decision to make at the end of Monday's episode. But Blake Shelton's steal created a rare moment of solidarity among the four judges.
Cedrice mesmerized Clarkson."It's not just because aesthetically you look like a goddess, Cedrice, it's because you're so comfortable and confident in your skin," Clarkson said."It was so captivating."
Shelton agreed."There is something that is magical about you," he said,"and you're super-talented on top of that." Though Shelton said he would select Artis as the winner. But the decision was Legend's alone to make. He said he could envision Cedrice"on all kinds of stages," ones fit for a supermodel, actress or singer. He described Artis' voice as"one of the most special" he's been around, and the victory went to Artis.
"It was a tough decision, but it's so hard not to go with Thunderstorm," said Legend."He's just such as special vocalist. He's got one of those voices that could win this show." But thanks to Shelton's steal, Cedrice is also in the running. The country star's decision to take Legend's artist made his fellow coaches rise to their feet."Yes, Blake!" Legend said giving a high-five."Well done," Jonas said shaking Shelton's hand."I've been on this show for five seasons now. At no time ever have all three other coaches been like, 'Yes!' We all wanted to steal you," she said."That was amazing.
