The special event will feature Land Cruisers from all 70+ years of the SUV's production, as well as other memorable Toyota off-roaders car auto cars
dates back to 1951. After test drives of the prototype on Mt. Fuji proved it to be extremely capable, demand for the production version was high. It wouldn’t be called the Land Cruiser for another 3 years, though, instead originally going by the Toyota BJ. The generation after that was the J20, though its successor, the J40, proved to be one of the most influential off-road vehicles of all time.
Then came the J80 and J100, what many people would consider to be the beginning of the modern Land Cruisers. After those, there was the J200, which stuck around for nearly 15 years before we got the J300, the current model.All these stepping stones in the Land Cruiser’s history will be on display at Off-Road Day, which will take place at the Toyota Collection in Cologne, Germany.
