The makers of Serious Sam return with a new first person game, but this time it’s a sequel to their award-winning philosophical puzzle game.
The Talos Principle 2 – more serious than Sam but also funnier While developer Croteam is best known for the Serious Sam franchise, The Talos Principle is about as different in style and tone as you could possibly get. One is a mindless, but entertaining, old school shooter and the other is a complex, story-driven puzzle game whose mechanical challenges are couched in a plot artfully infused with Greek philosophy.
All that might sound a bit po-faced, but not only does it ask genuinely interesting questions, it’s also presented through the prism of your fellow robo-humans, who come with their own brands of offbeat character comedy.
