Almost a month's worth of rain is forecast to fall in Nottingham as Storm Babet batters the country. The Met Office has warned the storm poses a 'danger to life' and has issued an amber weather warning.
The Met Office said homes and businesses 'are likely to be flooded, causing damage to some buildings'. It added some communities 'could be cut off' by flooded roads and warned of delays and cancellations on public transport.
