Payton also didn't confirm whether or not the show would be returning in February or if production will start then. Nevertheless, since the show ended in 2005, fans have been hungry for a new season, so the short wait shouldn't be too hard. Tommy Davidson, who voices Penny's dad, Oscar Proud, was the first to announce the revival back in August. However, many fans were still skeptical as it was never officially confirmed.airs on ABC, which is owned by Disney, making Payton's announcement a little more official, even thoughthe second Disney Channel show to be revived on the streaming service.
