The pretty village pub offering hearty food for less than a tenner - with stunning views too
Lancashire is a huge county, filled with so many villages, towns and cities that are all full of things to do, see, and, most importantly, eat. Last Sunday, it was a walk up Pendle Hill that took my fancy.
It's a small, quiet village that has just a couple of hearty restaurants for a hot meal. However, it was Sunday, and it appeared I wasn't the only one who was hungry. But once we'd got through the doors, we realised it was a bit of a Tardis - and actually the pub stretched back much further than I'd anticipated, with plenty of space for our hungry group. As soon as we stepped in, a member of staff greeted us at the door, quickly cleared a table and had us sat in the bright and airy conservatory within minutes. Despite the incredibly long queue at the bar, the staff were quick to hand us the menus and get the drinks order in.
