Older adults appear to be keeping up their daily activity levels better than younger adults, based on analysis of fitness-tracker data
With stay-at-home orders in place and nonessential businesses closed, most Americans are living their lives within a much smaller radius. The highly motivated have set up home gyms. The rest of us get our daily exercise shuffling from the bedroom to the kitchen to the sofa, making occasional forays out of the house.
Although physical activity has gone down overall, not everyone is moving less than they used to, according to activity trackers Fitbit and Garmin.
