Ross Clark and Rachael McAlonan, who are both fans of the popular comedy series Friends, were delighted after getting engaged in the city where the show is filmed.
This is the one where Glasgow Caledonian University's very own Ross and Rachael got engaged in a sweet New York proposal during a family trip away.
The couple, who were in the US with Ross' parent's, celebrated as a family in Brooklyn before they took a romantic walk over Brookyln Bridge during a recent visit. Ross said: "We are actually both fans of Friends and have lived with the Ross and Rachael stereotypes for a good while now – more than four years actually. "Beacon and Cold Spring seemed like a good bet, so I told her we were going away for the day to get a break from all the sites of New York. It worked out well thankfully."
