This Victorian park is transformed with stunning displays at this time of year
Days are becoming shorter, the mercury is plummeting and shops are full of Halloween decorations - it must mean autumn is upon us. While it can be depressing to say goodbye to the long sunny days of summer, it doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom.
Across Greater Manchester parks and woodlands will be transformed over the coming weeks as nature makes the transition from autumn to winter, a spectacle you can see with your own eyes. The park features areas of native woodland and there’s even a tree-lined walk adjacent to Queen’s Road where you can feel the crunch of fallen leaves underfoot. But there’s more to Alexandra Park than just its magnificent trees.
