A new line from Threeasfour expands the brand’s reach—and message.

“Tailored active” is how Asfour describes the aesthetic; Gil says the trio has taken a “greatest hits” approach, explaining that “all the styles are things that we’ve done before.” The most recognizable of these is the Circle bag, designed in 1998 when the brand was Asfour. A symbol of downtown cool at the time, it’s been out of, well, circulation for more than a decade, and like other Threeasfour designs, it has been accumulating insider IYKYK appeal.
As Gil is a yogi, comfort and style in activewear were the priorities, and many garments combine knits and woven materials. When placed side by side, the flip-flops in the collection form a circle, the shape the label has relied on and returned to over the years. The hope is that as Threeasfourasone pulls more people into the brand’s world, the values built into the clothes will go into orbit.
