coffee drive thru is opening its newest Northeast Ohio location next month in Kent at 1713 E. Main St. in front of Acme Fresh Market.Ron Watson is COO of the new location and additional Northeast Ohio stores in Canton, Streetsboro and Green, which all feature the same size footprint and layout. The drive-thru-only stores occupy 560-square feet, according to Watson. He said the stores’ prefabricated design and identical layout allow for a “faster, cleaner” way of operating.
The Human Bean offers a variety of coffees, teas, specialty coffee drinks, fruit smoothies made with real fruit, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, bagels, cookies and energy drinks — which can also be added to smoothies, Watson said. What sets the brand apart from other coffee shops is its commitment to serving quality ingredients and its extensive selection of syrup flavors for drinks, according to Watson.
“We’ve got every flavor you can think of as well as a big selection of sugar-free flavors,” Watson said. “My personal favorite is a green iced tea with peach flavor.” The Kent store will employ approximately 10 people, most of them part time, according to Watson, who said the store isKent store hours will be Mondays-Fridays from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
