Liam Oxley, 26, was found dead at his family home
A 'loving and caring' young man sent a series of heartbreaking final text messages to his girlfriend shortly before taking his own life, an inquest heard.
Adrienne, his partner, said Liam was a "lovely caring boyfriend and father" who adored his two children and was an active and 'hands-on' dad. He had battled depression and, a couple of years before his death, had been hit hard by the death of his grandma. She said Liam had recently been feeling 'more down than usual' but wasn't very good at talking about his problems and he would "just keep it all to himself." She paid tribute to her partner, saying he was a caring person. "Liam was a lovely, caring boyfriend and father. He was a great father and son. He was loved by all of us."
Ms Brocklehurst concluded that Liam had taken his own life. She told family members present in court that it was clear that Liam was loved and his family had done everything they could for him.
