These ForbesUnder30 Europe social entrepreneurs are making a brighter tomorrow
In August 2018, an unknown teenager began appearing in front of the Swedish Parliament. Every Friday, she stood resolute, holding a sign that read Skolstrejk för klimatet . Just 20 months after that first appearance, 17-year-old Greta Thunberg is now a household name and the face of a movement of young people fighting for more serious measures to combat climate change. She’s also been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize—twice.
As the world is forced to adapt in the face of existential challenges, Thunberg, like her fellow Forbes Under 30 Europe Social Entrepreneurs, is one of many young people who promise to make that change one of resilience and renewed hope.
