The final season of The Crown will air in November and December on Netflix.
The trailer for the sixth and final season of The Crown has dropped on social media as it focuses on the tragic death of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed.
The trailer opens with Diana playing the piano, while explaining in the voiceover: "I don't really understand how I ended up here. Dashing around... and losing sight of myself in the process. I think that's been the story of my whole life." Imelda Staunton's character states: "All one wants is for that girl to find peace", while scenes of Diana singing during a car drive with a young Prince William play.
Diana is then filmed receiving roses from lover Dodi Fayed, played by Khalid Abdalla alongside a note, reading: "Paris next week?" before the clip skips to the princess in a car surrounded by photographers.
