New research has revealed the most dog-friendly city in Scotland
New research has revealed the most dog-friendly cities and towns in the UK and named three locations in Scotland.
Glasgow is the only Scottish location to appear in the top 10, coming in at number three. Praising its "parks and green spaces to explore", as well as its "many dog walkers and sitters", Lord & Labradors awarded it a rating of 86 per cent. Edinburgh and Aberdeen are the only other Scottish cities to appear in the top 20. The former was awarded a score of 62 per cent, while the latter received 59 per cent.
For the study, Lord & Labradors compared a number ‘dog-friendly’ factors across UK towns and cities and combined the data to give each one an overall score. The factors included:
