A cleaning expert has shared that a simple household item, costing just £2, has been proven to get rid of the pesky bugs that are infesting the UK right now.
A cleaning guru has revealed that a simple item many people have in their cupboards can help destroy the existence of bed bugs in their homes.
According to Rentokil, baking soda is a popular homemade solution that people use to get rid of bed bugs. One of the many DIY methods used to destroy them includes sprinkling the white powder around key areas the bed bugs typically inhabit, such as the mattress and around the bed. Earlier this week, a microbiologist and founder of BedBugs Ltd, said that the UK is already facing a similar threat level as Paris.
One way you can avoid bed bugs is by regularly washing your bedsheets, which can also help keep other pests away. Bedbugs.net said: "Worms, dust mites, and other creepy crawlies can also thrive in filthy bedding."
