“It’s fantastic to get national recognition'
An artisan butchers located just outside Greater Manchester has been named as having one of the best pork pies in the country.
Mettrick’s also claimed the top award in the BBQ Product Category with its Tandoori Lamb Lollipops, which were described by the panel as “excellent” and scored 68 out of 70 points. Owner John, who is a third-generation of the Mettrick family, said: “It’s fantastic to get national recognition for these products which our whole team has developed and been involved with.
