Crisp lovers are shocked to discover that all Walkers crisps expire on a Saturday, according to a TikTok video that has gone viral.
When you need a quick snack on the go or a delicious accompaniment to your meal deal, crisps are always the way to go.
When you take a look over the best before date on each packet, you probably don't give it much thought other than if the date has passed or not. In the clip, Laura is seen going through a box of Walkers crisps and checking the expiry date on a packet, while captions across the screen read: "So my boyfriend came in from work and said all Walker's crisps go out of date on a Saturday...Sure enough, when Laura checked the expiry date against her calendar, it was a Saturday. And there's a simple reason why this is the case.
"Saturdays are typically busy shopping days, and consumers may be more likely to purchase snacks like crisps on this day. One said: "It's true I've done stock rotation in retail for 14 years and it's always been a Sat they go out of date."
