The Bear Season 3 Trailer Teases Its Central Challenge Close The new trailer teases the central challenge in The Bear season 3 – officially opening the restaurant to the public. The season 2 finale was a soft opening for friends and family only, which became increasingly chaotic once Carmy became trapped in the walk-in refrigerator.
The teaser trailer shows flashes of the restaurant's official opening to the public as Carmy's new kitchen quickly descends into chaos and dysfunction, with shots of overboiling stock and Carmy trashing food that needs to be refired. The front of the house isn't faring too well either, as Richie declares, "I'm getting drilled out there." It isn't long before Sydney declares it a "dysfunctional kitchen.
More meltdowns are also likely coming, especially between Carmy and Richie, who are seen fighting and need to be separated in the teaser trailer. During The Bear season 2 ending, Claire overhears Carmy's rant in the walk-in, leading to a heated argument between Richie and Carmy through the refrigerator door. It appears that, based on the teaser trailer, this conflict will boil over into The Bear season 3.
