Multiple owners have reported that the back of their Pixel Watch has popped off unprompted, raising concerns about its adhesive.

Imagine going to take your Pixel Watch off its wireless charger, and you only get about 90% of your watch back. That’s apparently what’s happened for some owners., some owners of Google’s relatively new Pixel Watch have reported that the back has separated from the rest of the watch. The report, which was able to find at least four instances of the issue being posted to Reddit, all have one thing in common: the back of the Pixel Watch came off when the owner obviously did not intend it to.

Most owners experienced the issue when trying to remove the watch from the company’s charging puck that comes with the watch. I can’t imagine pulling my Apple Watch off its charger and only getting most of my watch back. At least one user speculated that their sweat caused issues with the adhesive: Thanks to my excessive sweating the glue on the back of my pixel watch dissolved and the back has popped off.

Filipino American chefs come into their own with multiple James Beard award nodsFilipino American chefs come into their own with multiple James Beard award nodsThree Filipino restaurants in three different parts of the U.S. are among the nominees at this year's James Beard Awards, the culinary world's equivalent of the Oscars. It's a sign that a cuisine that's historically been stifled by colonialism and generally unappreciated is coming into its own. The restaurants Archipelago in Seattle, Abacá in San Francisco and Kasama in Chicago all scored nods in the restaurant and chef categories. Kasama last year became the first Michelin-starred Filipino restaurant. These chefs are part of a younger generation giving voice to the Filipino American experience through the language of food. The awards ceremony is next week in Chicago.
