With just three weeks left to go until The Apprentice declares its winner, a disastrous attempt to make vegan cheese saw two candidates fired from the competition
With The Apprentice finish line just three weeks away, the remaining candidates were given another chance to impress Lord Alan Sugar in the hopes of securing his investment, this time with a challenge based around cheese. In a special culinary themed challenge for week ten, the two teams were tasked with creating a new vegan friendly cheese alternative for discerning customers hoping to maximise flavour while also being entirely plant-based.
Content with their flavours, both teams were then tasked with creating the perfect brand for their product and pitching their new item to a host of suppliers in the hopes of securing a sale. Sadly however, this was where it all fell apart for both teams as both presentations struggled to deliver on the original brief.
After an impassioned speech to try and save her place, Lord Sugar decided he had heard enough and soon passed judgement on the trio for their poor performance. Immediately after Foluso’s firing, Lord Sugar also revealed a second candidate would also be leaving, as he felt Steve had also performed poorly in the latest task. He told the budding entrepreneur: “Steve you were responsible for the curry flavoured product and that is the fundamental reason why this task failed.”
Steve also weighed in on his elimination as he added: “Honestly surprised that Lord Sugar fired me I don’t think it was the right decision, he’s probably the first person ever to say no to this thing ”
