The pubs and bars nominated for the Scottish Licensed Trade News Awards, which celebrates the best hospitality in Scotland, have been revealed — including venues all over the country.
The pubs and bars across Scotland that are in the running to be crowned the best in the country have been revealed.
The Cocktail Bar of the Year category will see bars from Scotland's two biggest cities battle it out, with intimate Glasgow spot The Absent Ear competing alongside Edinburgh venues The Cocktail Geeks and Hey Palu for the prize.View gallery Meanwhile, the Community Pub of the Year award is dedicated to unfussy boozers that are beloved by their local community. The Caledonian Bar in Port Glasgow, Platform 3 in Linlithgow, and The Station Bar in Alness are the three pubs in the running.
The SLTN Awards will also be shining a spotlight on the independent Scottish bars and pubs that serve their communities day after day, with Fox and Hounds in Houston and Glasgow venues Bag O’Nails and The Palais being the three nominees.
