Children of the ’80s may remember the Harrison Ford and River Phoenix drama about a man who takes his familyoff the grid, but this two-season series adapts the 1981 novel by Paul Theroux more faithfully.
Justin Theroux stars as Allie Fox, a man hunted by the government who is forced to take his family on a dangerous journey through Mexico in the first season and into the heart of the jungle in the second. The sophomore season is kind of a mess , but the first is better than you’ve heard.
