Texas A&M has a chance to end its longest losing streak in 50 years when also-struggling Massachusetts pays a visit to Kyle Field on Saturday morning.
Ideally the former five-star prospect would have taken snaps early in the year against Sam Houston and Appalachian State to help him adjust to the swifter college game.
Saturday morning will mark the first time Weigman will earn significant snaps against a supposedly lesser opponent, with previous playing time against South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida and Auburn, all losses to SEC foes. A&M hasn’t won a game since Arkansas’s kicker somehow booted a ball off the top right upright — literally off the top of the upright — andSept. 24 in Arlington.
