The change has been made to mark Easter, which will fall on Sunday, April 9. Shoppers will be able to spot the change on supermarkets and delivery vans across the UK from today , Manchester Evening News reports.
The logo now features a cracked Easter egg sitting inside the 'O' of Tesco, and can be spotted on the outside of 19 surprise store locations across the country. The new design has been unveiled to launch a £100,000 Easter giveaway.The giveaway will run from today until Wednesday, March 29, and all shoppers have to do to enter is snap a photo of the updated logo in any format and share it on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with the hashtag #CrackingEaster.
