Delivery slots for Christmas open on November 21, but for those signed up for a saver plan they will open earlier
Tesco is reminding customers that time is running out to sign up for a Delivery Saver plan and secure early access to online Christmas slots this year. The supermarket said it was helping customers get organised early with Delivery Saver Christmas slots opening a week earlier than last year.
While Tesco Delivery and Click+Collect slots open for all customers on November 21 at 6am, anyone signed up to an Anytime Delivery plan or Anytime Click + Collect plan can get a two-week head start, with slots opening to this group at 6am this coming Tuesday, November 7. So long as customers sign up to the relevant Delivery Saver plan by Monday, November 6, they will benefit from access to priority Christmas slots for 2023. The benefits aren’t limited to Christmas – Delivery Saver is Tesco’s subscription-based delivery service designed to help reduce the cost of regular online grocery orders, with a range of plans running for six or 12 months and starting from £2.49 a month.
Tom Denyard, managing director of Tesco Online, said: “As we help customers plan ahead for their Christmas shop this year, we want customers to know that time is running out to sign up for a Delivery Saver Anytime Plan plan and benefit from festive priority slot bookings, which go live on Tuesday.
This will also be Tesco's first Christmas where all Grocery Home Shopping deliveries and collections via Click+Collect are paperless. Customers will receive electronic receipts ahead of time, which are not only more convenient but also help us to reduce our paper usage.
