'Turkey will continue its fight until the last terrorist is killed in Turkey, Syria and Iraq.' Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
Turkish President and Leader of Turkey's governing Justice and Development Party Recep Tayyip Erdogan speaks during his party's parliamentary group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in Ankara, Turkey on November 5, 2019.
Erdogan noted that the terrorists beyond the safe zone borders were organising attacks to Turkish security forces.“Turkey will continue its fight until the last terrorist is killed in Turkey, Syria and Iraq,” Erdogan said. In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organisation by Turkey, the US and the European Union -- has been responsible for the deaths of 40,000 people, including women, children and infants. The YPG is the Syrian offshoot of the PKK.
Turkey received a system, two batteries, and all the ammunition of the Russian S-400 missile defence systems, the military sources said, adding that training is underway.
