That's the polite reply Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is likely to get when he meets EU foreign ministers on Monday for an hour and a half of virtual discussion, in which he is expected to request support for Washington's confrontations with Beijing.For the Europeans, who have watched President Donald Trump mount a steady assault on transatlantic relations in recent weeks, including a plan to pull U.S.
A senior EU official insisted that the partnership with the U.S. is still the EU's "most important bilateral relationship." Pompeo is one of Trump's strongest loyalists and defenders, and in addition to China he is expected to discuss the Middle East, the coronavirus pandemic and the situation in Ukraine, EU diplomats said.
