Denver is full of free activities today.
Novelist Stephen Graham Jones has dipped his literary toe into the waters of comic books before, but never so personally. Much of his work has to do with horror or sci-fi narrative as seen through the lens of his Native American heritage, and this project does, too.
It’s the story of a small group of Indigenous survivors in an apocalyptic near-future. To save the world, they must traverse time in order to put right what once went wrong — starting with visiting 1492 in order to find none other than Christopher Columbus…and kill him. Graham Jones will meet fans and sign copies of the first issue of the book at this free event; find out more
