Man United were battered by Brentford in only their thiird Premier League draw of the season at the Community Stadium.
Erik ten Hag admitted Manchester United did not deserve to win in their fortuitous 1-1 draw with Brentford as he criticised the team for a lack of passion and desire.
United have recorded four wins this season through goals in added time and seemed certain to claim a fifth but Ten Hag admitted they did not show enough passion and desire. "You can never compare such levels, performances but also when you don't play well you still have to win, we did it almost. "As long as we get results, no?" Ten Hag said. "I explained it once more: we defended low by times and because Brentford are very direct we lost many many second balls and we had to defend the box.
