"I love that kid ... well, he's not a kid anymore, he's a man; he's the man," said Jose Altuve, Peña's double-play partner and the man who hit in front of the rookie all postseason. "Everyone wants to be a big-time player like that, but I just have to give credit to my teammates for putting me in those positions," said Peña,who joins Liván Hernández and Larry Sherry as the only rookies to ever be named World Series MVP."I've just always been so thankful to them for accepting me and helping me with everything along the way and having confidence in me the whole way.
