Taylor Swift has released her new album The Tortured Poets Department, which sees her take aim at a heartbreaker who she was only with for a fortnight - but who turned her into a 'functioning alcoholic'.

In another ballad titled 'Down Bad', during a painful breakup, Taylor dramatically exclaims: "I might just die, it would make no difference." "God save the most judgemental creeps who say they want what's best for me," she slams back, poetically describing their intrusive thoughts and opinions. "Sanctimoniously performing soliloquies I'll never see / Thinking it can change the beat of my heart when he touches me / And counteract the chemistry."
