For buccaneers, swashbucklers and the would-be pirates among Northern Ireland's sea-lovers, Tall Ship Phoenix is offering the opportunity to take to the high seas on a famous old vessel.
"It's a very unique opportunity, because ships like this you usually only see in movies but this summer people can actually stay on her for a week and sail on her," she told Belfast Live."Just because if you do want to get involved with pulling ropes and climbing up the masts, you need to be somewhat fit, but otherwise no, no sailing experience.""She's been in quite a few things, it's quite a long list," she said.
"Depending on where you're going and what the weather's doing, the crew will try and do little mini-excursions as well so we have a little dinghy on the boat," she said. Tall Ship Phoenix has only been docked at Belfast Marina in the past year or so, but Alice says it has attracted plenty of interest at its location between the SSE Arena and Titanic.
"The biggest difference is obviously her appearance, it's quite rare to get ships like that nowadays that are big, wooden, classically rigged ships.
