SWAT officers surround home in University Heights [Breaking]
SWAT officers surrounded a University Heights home Monday where they believe a suspect is holed up.
Officers were sent to the home on Louisiana Street near El Cajon Boulevard around 8:35 a.m. after police received a call about people who had showed up to the home looking for drugs. The home is the site where four people overdosed Thursday morning. Two of the people were treated with Narcan — medication that reverses the effects of opioid overdoses — and survived. Two others died.When officers arrived Monday, several people walked out of the home. It was not immediately clear if they were detained.
