Sven-Goran Eriksson has revealed he once held talks to become Liverpool manager earlier in his career.
“It’s okay, what I have done, I have done and I am happy about that. Now it’s over, almost. Almost. This will be the last game, I suppose! So that’s great. “It’s for charity which makes it even more lovely. It’ll be great to see. We have to beat Ajax though! “They were just playing. Some warm up and then the play. The quality of the play was incredible. It was make it simple.
“What a player, it will be very nice to see him!” he said. “I think with his mentality, he could move mountains.” “And part of that is the song, You’ll Never Walk Alone, that the players come out to and that makes me like this even today and I’ve seen it live so many times and on television. The atmosphere is incredible.
