Geovany Valencia-Dominguez was arrested in the May 12 killing of Jorge Martinez in Dallas' Love Field area, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit.
An argument, allegedly over a bicycle, Friday night in the Love Field area led toGeovany Valencia-Dominguez, 31, was arrested over the weekend after he turned himself in to police in the shooting death of Jorge Martinez, 34.
Valencia-Dominguez told police he and a friend were smoking marijuana and sitting on a curb outside an apartment complex in the 4600 block of Lake Avenue when Martinez approached them trying to sell a bicycle, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit. An argument ensued after the men said they didn’t need the bike and Martinez allegedly said he’d come back before going to his apartment and returning with a shotgun, detectives wrote in the affidavit.Email Address
