Nearly 800 homes in Woking are without power, while residents across Surrey are reporting outages.
Network Rail has reported a fallen tree on the tracks at Gomshall, between Guildford and Gatwick Airport.Storm Ciarán is sweeping across Surrey, causing widespread flooding, park closures and power outages.
Public park Painshill in Cobham has announced it will be closed on Thursday due to high winds in the area. Anyone who had booked a ticket for Thursday will be allowed to use it over the next three months or apply for a refund.There are 17 flood alerts in Surrey. A spokesperson said: "Our chainsaw gangs are out in force clearing trees so we can reopen affected lines as quickly and safely as possible."
