Ginsburg was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore on Tuesday for “treatment of a possible infection” and she had an endoscopic procedure in the afternoon to clean a bile duct stent that was placed last August. "The Justice is resting comfortably and will stay in the hospital for a few days to receive intravenous antibiotic treatment,” Arberg said. Ginsburg is considered the leader of the Supreme Court’s liberal wing, which is outnumbered by conservatives 5-4. She was appointed by President Bill Clinton in 1993.Tuesday morning, Ginsburg was one of the dissenting justices in the Supreme Court ruling that set aGinsburg has had a range of health issues in recent years.
