The Food Standards Agency has explained to customers why the products are being recalled and what to do if they have bought it
A number of supermarket chains have issued recalls on popular food items over choking hazard concerns or fears they could trigger allergies.
Cocco Candy Rolling Candy Cocco Candy and KGR Distribution are recalling several varieties of Cocco Candy Rolling Candy because of the possibility that the rolling ball may detach, which could cause a choking hazard. The FSA said the products listed below are known to be sold in the UK.Cocco Candy Tutti Frutti Flavoured Rolling CandyThe FSA said: "If you have bought any of the above products, do not eat them. Instead, please contact KGR distribution for a refund at Recall@kgrdistribution.
Caramel Crispy Bites Morrisons is continuing to recall Morrisons Market Street 18 Caramel Crispy Bites because they may contain egg which is not mentioned on the label. The FSA said this means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.Best before: All dates up to and including 12 December 2023
Chocolate Caramel Mini Crisp Bites Asda is continuing to recall The Bakery at Asda 20 Chocolate Caramel Mini Crisp Bites because they may contain egg which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.Best before: All dates up to and including 14 December 2023
The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. For more information, please contact Customer Care on [email protected] or 0203 966 5566."
