Season 3 of “Succession” swings around its most unhinged character, Kendall Roy. Actor Jeremy Strong drew on personal discoveries and great literature to map his character’s damaged psyche.
Kendall Roy is holed up in a bathroom. Lying fully clothed in an empty bathtub, having chucked his family’s media empire into a buzz saw on live TV.
Then, in the newest installment of the HBO drama “Succession,” Kendall strides out of the bathroom like a different person. “OK,” he says, “action stations!”
