The Willenberg Career and Transition Center, a vocational campus in San Pedro that is part of LAUSD, celebrated the grand opening of its Ocean Technology Blue Lab on Tuesday, March 29.
The blue lab, about three years in the making, allows students with special needs to raise brine shrimp, which will eventally be sold to local aquariums and elsewhere for fish food.
