"That's been our issue the whole time is being consistent on defense, so that contributed to our win," Paetow coach Stacey Stroman said."Just being consistent and going for balls, getting tips and touches. That definitely fueled the offense for sure." Paetow had lost five of six entering Tuesday, though the win was against defending district champion Seven Lakes. With seven games remaining, the Panthers have already matched their previous best district win total and seek greater achievement.
Morton Ranch led 11-10 at the end of the first quarter with Angelica Davis scoring six of her team-high 10 points. She also led the Mavericks with eight rebounds and three steals.
