This stormy pattern stays with us through next week
SE Texas is still in the storm track. I’m expecting more afternoon thunderstorms that can bring street flooding and severe weather in the form of hail and damaging winds. Like yesterday this activity won’t be widespread but will affect some of us.Chance of street flooding todayOur next organized cluster of strong thunderstorms arrives early Friday morning.
Give or take an hour or two, the storms move inside the beltway at 7am. This line of storms can bring damaging straight line winds, hail and street flooding.A wide range of rain but in general .50"-3" expected throughout SE TexasMore afternoon thunderstorms are possible Saturday. Next week we head into a typical summer time weather pattern which includes heat, humidity and a chance of sea breeze afternoon thunderstorms.
