Striking healthcare workers in Belfast have said that everyone is under pressure from the cost of living crisis as they fight for improved pay.
He said: "We are striking today in order to campaign for fair pay and better working conditions within our hospitals. "I have two young children at home and over the past few months we have had to cut down on heating in the house because we were not able to afford it. Topping up £50 only lasts us about 12 days at the moment when previously it would have lasted much longer.
She said: "Our industrial action today is not just about pay but about improving the safety and working conditions within our hospitals.
