Schools could be forced to close after council workers voted to take industrial action over equal pay claims, a union has warned.
Members of the GMB union have voted to go on strike over the local authority's timetable for settling the liability. Rhea Wolfson, head of industrial relations at the GMB, told Politics Midlands that her members had been undervalued and that as many as 35 schools could be at risk of closure during the strikes.'Terrible mess'
