Fletchers' Family Farm will follow Kelvin and his family as they get to grips with running their farm
Strictly Come Dancing star Kelvin Fletcher has hit back at claims that his new reality show is intrusive, telling fans 'what you see is what you get'. Viewers will get an insight into what rural life is like as the ITV show will observe the challenges the Fletchers encounter as they settle into their new lifestyle.
Although their adventures on their 120-acre farm in the far west of the Peak District were filmed by a multitude of cameras, Kelvin says the process wasn't intrusive at all. "People always say, 'Does it feel intrusive?' Because you have cameras filming your every moment and yes, naturally as actors, it's new territory for us," he said.
The first episode shows the family in the midst of their biggest lambing season ever, as the thrill of new life turns into a battle for survival. "The show should feel authentic and so real because we haven't consciously tried to do that, it just happened and that is the whole premise of the programme," Kelvin continued.
