BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Kevin Clifton will be returning to the show this year four years after leaving the ballroom. The professional dancer was previously married to fellow dancer Karen Hauer for three years, before the relationship broke down.
The split happened the same year that Stacey Dooley took part in the show, with Kevin having started a relationship with the TV presenter. With that relationship still ongoing, and Karen Hauer having just been eliminated from this year's competition alongside Eddie Kadi, Kevin will now be returning to our screens.
Earlier in this series, It Takes Two presenter Fleur East confirmed Kevin would be standing in for his sister Joanne. She said: "Choreography corner is a family affair this year isn't it Joanne? Yes it's someone called Kevin, dunno if you know him, he came second in 2016 when I won.
He said at the time: "To the entire Strictly family. The past 7 years have been some of the most wonderful years of my life. I am grateful to the BBC and Strictly Come Dancing for giving me the opportunity to have been a part of something truly special.
"After finishing last series with the Children In Need trophy and the Christmas Special I want to leave on a high and have therefore decided the time has come to move on and focus on other areas of my life and career."
