A former Strictly Come Dancing star is set to appear on Escape to the Country. Pro dancer Janette Manrara will be appearing on the show with her family, this comes after she appeared on the BBC dancing series from 2013 to 2021 when she hung up her dancing shoes to host the spin off show, It Takes Two.
Janette and her husband, Aljaz Skorjanec, who is also a former Strictly pro, will be on the show talking about their move from London to Cheshire. The BBC property show has been on air for 21 years, and their daughter Lyra, will also be joining them on the show. on the show, as they also look to relocate to the countryside. Last month Aljaz and Janette had been teasing they were filming something new together, sharing photos of the family on a farm reports Birmingham Live.Alongside the photos, Janette wrote: "We did some very special filming today in our new place we call home, the #countryside.
Janette and Aljaz moved to their new home ahead of the birth of their daughter, and they have all now settled into the Cheshire property. The pair married in 2017, and have also shared that one of the reasons behind the move was that they wanted to be close to Strictly pals Gorka Marquez and Gemma Atkinson, who had baby Thiago just days before Janette welcomed Lyra.
Janette said: “It will be so nice to have Uncle Gorka and Auntie Gemma nearby. Gemma and I share the same birthday so I can’t wait to tell her that we’ll be having a baby together too.” The beautiful home features a large walk in wardrobe, a huge table for family and friends to gather around and a large garden.
