A Strictly star has caused fury after a comment about his wife Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan has been branded a ‘sexist pig’ after a social media post about his wife. The dancer, 46, appeared as a professional dancer on the BBC One competition between 2006 and 2013. He married co-star Ola Jordan in 2003, who was on the show between 2006 and 2013, and the couple share a daughter together.
Christine also said: ‘We know you don’t mean it James as Ola would kill you!’ This isn’t the first time James has caused quite a stir over his comments about women, after ranting last year that there would be ‘no white, heterosexual men on our screens anymore’ if TV executives kept trying to ‘tick boxes’. He also called for an end to all female presenting duos, such as the pairing of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, who front Strictly.
