Fans of the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing were left emotional after judge Anton Du Beke referenced his 'dear old' Len Goodman in the show. Len died in April the age of 78 after a battle with prostate cancer.
Having been a part of Strictly from the very first episode in 2004, Len sat on the panel for 12 years as the head judge and was known for his signature 'seven' when scoring. During the Halloween special this year on Saturday , Anton Du Beke expressed how impressed he was by the performance from tennis star Annabel Croft and her professional partner Johannes, reports Bristol Live.
Anton awarded the couple an eight for their dance, a point higher than all his fellow judges who all held up the ‘seven’ paddle, giving the couple a total score of 29. Anton's comments left some Strictly fans emotional, one Twitter user said: "Anton mentioning 'Dear old Len'," followed by a heart emoji. Another also shared a heart emoji followed by 'ahhh Len'.
